**Carmavate Orange Cream**  

**Product Description**  

Carmavate Orange Cream contains **clobetasol propionate**, a potent corticosteroid used topically for the treatment of severe skin conditions that do not respond to milder corticosteroids. This formulation has been specially designed to enhance the effectiveness of clobetasol propionate.

**Composition**  

Each gram of Carmavate Orange Cream contains:  

- Clobetasol Propionate: 0.5 mg  

- Propylene Glycol  

- Aqua  

- Carbomer  

- Titanium Dioxide D  

- Triethanolamine  

**Indications**  

Carmavate Orange Cream is indicated for the treatment of **resistant dermatoses**, including:  

- Psoriasis  

- Relapsing Eczemas  

- Discoid Erythema  

- Lupus Erythematosus  

- Lichen Planus  

It is especially beneficial for conditions that do not respond to other corticosteroids. In cases of psoriasis, close patient monitoring is recommended.

**Dosage**  

- Apply a small amount of Carmavate Orange Cream once or twice a day.  

- Massage gently until the cream is fully absorbed.  

- Discontinue treatment once control is achieved.  

- Do not use for longer than three weeks without new medical advice.

**Contraindications**  

- Not for use in patients with **cutaneous tuberculosis**, children under **one year of age**, or **pregnant women**.  

- Avoid application on **skin lesions caused by infections** (viral, fungal, or bacterial).  

- Do not apply near the **eyes**. Use with caution on the **face**.

**Side Effects**  

Possible side effects may include:  

- **Localized hypersensitivity reactions** in those allergic to clobetasol propionate.  

- **Skin dryness**, **cutaneous atrophy**, **acne eruptions**, and **hypopigmentation**.  

- Use of occlusive dressings may increase absorption and lead to **skin thinning**, **striae (stretch marks)**, and other atrophic skin changes.

In case of side effects, temporarily suspend use and consult a healthcare professional.

**Overdose Treatment**  

Overdose is typically caused by overuse. Treatment involves reducing the dosage or gradually discontinuing use under medical supervision.

Use before the **expiration date** printed on the packaging.
