Product Description
PRESENTATION:
clobetasol propionate is a very active corticosteroid
used by topical application in the treatment of dermatoses and skin diseases, resistant to other less active corticosteroids.
The particular composition of Carmavate Orange cream "MCA" has been studied to increase the activity of clobetasol propionate.
Composition:
Each g of Carmavate Orange cream
Contains: Clobetasol Propionate 0.5 mg, Propylene Glycol, Aqua, Carbomer, Titanium Dioxide D, Triethanolamine.
Indications:
Carmavate Orange cream is particularly indicated for the treatment of very resistant dermatoses as psoriasis, relapsing eczemas, discoid erythema, lupus erythematosus, lichen planus and other conditions which don't respond to other corticosteroids. If used in psoriasis careful patient supervision is very important
Dosage:
Apply the Carmavate Orange cream once or twice a day in a small amount and massage until completely absorbed. Treatment should be discontinued when control is activated. Treatments longer than three weeks without a new medical prescription should be avoided.
Contraindications:
It should not be administered to patients with cutaneous tuberculosis, children under one year of age and pregnant women. Skin lesions caused by infections by viruses, fungi or bacteria. Avoid contact with eyes and apply carefully to face and push-ups.
Side effects:
In subjects allergic towards Clobetasol Propionate, the prolonged use of the drug can arise phenomena of localized hyper-sensitiveness. Arising of skin dryness, cutaneous atrophy, eruption of acne and hypo-pigmentation: in these cases, it's advisable to make a temporary suspension of the applications, and a new Medical consultation. Use of occlusive dressing increases the absorption of topical corticosteroids, and may cause the arising of striae, skin thinning and other atrophic changes
Overdose Treatment:
Overdoses are almost always due to overuse. They should be treated symptomatically, whenever possible, the dosage reduced or the drug withdrawn slowly.
Expiration: To be used only before the Expiration Date printed on the box.
Warnings: For external use only. To be used under medical control. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.
